Wrona Law Firm Gets Back One of its Two Attorneys Who Have Been Serving Overseas

Last summer, two of Wrona Law Firm’s senior attorneys were called upon by the United States Army to serve missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Last month, one of those attorneys, Jeffrey T. Colemere, returned to Utah to reclaim his position at Wrona Law Firm and resume providing quality legal service to that firm’s clients.

Mr. Colemere left Wrona Law for Iraq after being selected to serve as trial counsel in Iraq for the newly established 96th Sustainment Brigade.  The 96th Sustainment Brigade was headquartered at Camp Taji, on the outskirts of Baghdad, and at Al Assad Air Base, near Fallujah.  During its Iraq mission, the 96th Sustainment Brigade supported the needs of over 4000 Soldiers in the Baghdad and West Desert regions of Iraq.

Concerning his deployment, Mr. Colemere states that “it is an honor to serve the United States with the great soldiers of the 96th Sustainment Brigade.  It is also a privilege to be part of a law firm that is as loyal to its attorneys as it is to its clients.  I slept better at night in Iraq knowing that my desk was waiting for me at Wrona Law. ”

Wrona Law’s founder, Joe Wrona, is thrilled to have Jeff back in the litigation and real estate departments in the firm’s Draper office.  “When Jeff was mobilized to go to Iraq, there was simply no question about my firm’s loyalty to Jeff.  We owe Jeff our thanks for serving our country.  Jeff is an important part of my Draper team and I rely on him every day.  We were counting the days until he returned, and so were our clients.”

Jeff’s contribution to our nation’s defense did not go unnoticed by the military.  For his valiant service in Iraq, Mr. Colemere was awarded the Army’s Meritorious Service Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. 

Now that his Iraq service is behind him, Mr. Colemere will return to his law practice focusing on real estate and construction litigation and the other legal issues that Wrona Law presents to him.  According to Jeff, “It feels great to be back to work at Wrona Law.  It is like I never left.”
