Background: Brook Millard has recently teamed up with Wrona Law Firm, P.C. to bring his experience handling complex personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, commercial litigation and professional malpractice to the firm.
Mr. Millard began the practice of law working for Richards, Brandt, Miller & Nelson where his practice emphasized the representation of businesses and insurance companies in workers compensation and employments related matters.
Mr. Millard then moved to Dunn & Dunn where his practice emphasized workers compensation and employment defense and other insurance defense. In October 2000, Mr. Millard joined Eisenberg & Gilchrist and Brayton Purcell, LLP as an associate attorney. His practice consisted of representing plaintiffs in asbestos injury, personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, legal and medical malpractice cases. Mr.Millard became a shareholder of Eisenberg & Gilchrist in 2007.
In the Fall of 2007, Mr. Millard and James E. Morton, opened Morton and Millard, PLLC. At Morton and Millard, Brook continued to represent individuals in personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, medical malpractice and legal malpractice cases. He also added business litigation and intellectual property litigation to his areas practice. Following the unfortunate death of his partner, Mr. Morton, in the spring of 2009, Brook and Joe Wrona saw an opportunity to benefit both of them in teaming up to offer more services for Wrona Law Firm.
When not practicing law, or recovering and rehabilitating from his recent knee surgery, Brook loves spending time with his wife Jerilyn and four children. He enjoys snowboarding, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, scuba diving, playing hockey, wakeboarding and wake surfing. Brook is an avid fan of University of Utah Athletics and was a 7 time letterman in the hammer throw while attending the U of U. |
