Background: While Mr. Wrona was still in law school, he began working for the Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund in Juneau, Alaska on some of the nation's largest environmental litigation, including the Exxon Valdez oil spill actions. He decided to return to Alaska after law school and Joe eventually associated with the Anchorage law firm of Birch, Horton, Bittner & Cherot, before being appointed as an assistant district attorney and then the Dillingham District Attorney for the State of Alaska. It was during his years as a felony prosecutor for the state of Alaska that Mr. Wrona came to feel at home in the courtroom.
In 1999, Mr. Wrona returned to Utah to open a private law practice in Park City. He quickly became one of Park City's busiest and most successful litigators, appearing in a broad range of cases involving complex real estate development and construction matters, contract and tort claims, as well as criminal defense. Wrona Law Firm has grown under his supervision to include nine attorneys working from Wrona Law's offices in Park City, Heber City and Draper.
A veteran of over 100 trials, Mr. Wrona represents a broad range of client interests on both sides of the Wasatch Mountains. Mr. Wrona also frequently lectures on behalf of the Utah Association of Realtors. When he is not in the courtroom or assisting his clients with their legal needs, you might find Joe skiing, biking, hiking or guiding backcountry trips in southern Utah. |
